The first two GP42 Botin & Carkeek - Grand Soleil are in Valencia

The first two boats of the 2007 generation of GP42 arrived at the Real Club Nautico yesterday.

The crews are working to put them together to go sailing as soon as possible.

These two yachts have been built in Argentina by King Marine for Grand Soleil/Cantiere del Pardo.

One is owned by Pedro Campos and sponsored, as usual, by Telefonica Movistar and the other by Jan Santana and sponsored by Zurich are going to be present in all the International GPO42 Circuit 2007 and also in the Spanish regattas.

Zurich will be equipped with a Hall Spar rigging while Movistar will use a King Marine one.

Both of them will use North Sails.

It seems that Jordy Calafat (Alinghi) will steer Zurich.

Pedro Campos will instead alternate at the helm with Vasco Vascotto (Mascalzone Latino Capitalia Team).
